Kathmandu, May19

Communist party of Nepal (Maoist centre) mayor candidate Renu Dahal from Bharatpur Metropolitan city (BMC) is leading comfortably by a margin of over 3000 votes against her closest rival Bijaya subedi of the CPN-UML.

In the ongoing vote counting, Dahal has received 15491 votes so far, while Subedi is trailing behind with 12411 votes.

Similarly the rebel candidate jagannath paudel from Nepali congress party has got 6389 votes so far.

The counting is still going on and so far over 40000 votes have been counted.
