According to the Denis Savchenko, chairman of the board of the Ukrainian NGO CrimeaSOS, about 90% of pharmacies in the temporarily occupied Kherson region are closed, and prices for most drugs have increased three- to fivefold.

The situation with medicines is difficult in the temporarily occupied Kherson region. Almost all pharmacies – 90% – do not work. Some pharmacy chains, according to pharmacists, plan to stop their work in the region,” – said the chairman of the Crimean SOS Denis Savchenko.

According to him, medicines to Kherson and the region are currently transported from the occupied Crimea and Russia and sold from the trunks of cars in local markets, they are not certified and can be counterfeit.
