The CPN (Unified Socialist Party) has said that the discussions outside the alliance are open for an alliance in the upcoming general election. At the same time, Unified Socialist has put forward two conditions for talks with UML. The party, which split from the UML ten months ago, has demanded that UML should accept their existence and be ready to discuss on the dissolution of the parliament.

The party's central committee meeting on Saturday decided to give high priority to the current five-party alliance. Respected leader of the party Jhala Nath Khanal was of the view that only the five-party alliance should not be relied upon and the door of cooperation with the UML should also be opened.

"There may be cooperation with the UML, but there are two conditions for that. The first is to accept the existence of the party, the second is to be ready to discuss on the dissolution of the parliament," said Jagannath Khatiwada, head of the party's publicity department.
